    中國海洋石油有限公司宣布，位于美國墨西哥灣的Appomattox油田提前安全投產(chǎn)。Appomattox油田位于墨西哥灣深水，距美國路易絲安那州東南約128公里，水深約2255米。Appomattox是墨西哥灣深水Norphlet地層第一個已投產(chǎn)的商業(yè)發(fā)現(xiàn)，預(yù)計高峰產(chǎn)量約為17.5萬桶/天。中海油的全資子公司CNOOC Petroleum Offshore U.S.A. Inc.擁有Appomattox油田21%的權(quán)益。Shell Offshore Inc.擁有79%的權(quán)益，并擔(dān)任作業(yè)者。
